Yellon employee nominated for the Young Leading Woman of the Year award
Young Leading Woman of the Year is an award aimed at highlighting female role models in the Jönköping region. The reason for the initiative is that only 28 percent of the leaders in the region are women, which places Jönköping at the bottom of the country.
Today, 30 female leaders were presented by a jury elected among all the women nominated for the award. One of them is Yellon’s Madelene San Román.
‘I am so proud to be part of this inspiring group of women. And I am delighted with the initiative; it is a good idea to highlight female role models in our region where management is dominated by men. All efforts, small and large, are needed. And I and Yellon do our best to shape development also in this field.
One of the 30 young leading women will be awarded Young Leading Woman of the Year during a ceremony at Residenset on 25 February.
