Yellon competes for the new Handelshögskolan in Gothenburg

At the beginning of the summer, Akademiska Hus invited companies to an architectural competition for the design of a new building for Handelshögskolan (School of Economics) at the University of Gothenburg and an integrated station entry to the future commuter train station in Haga. 73 expressions of interest, national and international, were received and six architect teams were selected. One of them was Yellon’s team.

The competition will begin with a start-up meeting on 15 October and the architects will then work on their proposals until 30 January, 2015. The final entries are assessed by a jury with representatives from Akademiska Hus, the University of Gothenburg, Göteborgs Stad, Trafikverket (Swedish Transport Administration) and Sveriges Arkitekter. The winners are announced in March.
