Yellon designs furniture series for Stolab

09-02-2016: Today, during the ongoing Stockholm Furniture Fair, Stolab launches a new furniture series characterized by the love of solid wood. One of the proud designers is Yellon’s Måns Sjöstedt who has created Prio, a piece of furniture for storage that combines a simple and expressive design with true quality.

‘With the Prio series I have primarily focused on conscious simplicity. That is one of Stolab’s core values, which is also very close to my own way of working with design. The project has been a balance between simplifying and at the same time adding function and visual details, making the series unique,’ says Måns.

The Prio storage series consists of cabinets and showcases in four different designs to suit different needs and different kinds of accommodation. Prio offers varied individual interior styles through different materials and colour palettes. Thanks to the fact that all components are made of wood, Prio is perceived as an exclusive and natural product. The beautiful thing about solid wood is displayed in details such as cut-outs at the top and handles as well as the rounded legs.
