Norrporten’s new extension to the Court of Appeal in Upper Norrland in Ume\u00e5 has been certified as a Passive House of the Passive House Institute in Darmstadt. It\u2019s an international award that is only given to real estates with an energy consumption of less than 15 kWh\/square metres per year.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n
Prior to the projecting phase, everyone at Yellon passed a training class for passive housing and it is gratifying for us that our first passive house-certified building now has been completed and approved. Yellon submittted construction documents for Norrporten and the Court of Justice, which uses the premises. The original architect is B\u00f6rje Falemo.<\/p>\n
